Our one-of-a-kind rooftop patio is exclusively for the use of the hotel guests, with stunning views of Kootenay Lake and Downtown Nelson. The patio also features a rooftop hot tub, available year-round, where guests can soak and take in the stunning mountain and lake scenery.

Guest Lounge and Cedar Sauna

The Guest Lounge offers another great space to relax and connect during your stay. Whether you're chatting with friends or taking a break from exploring, it's a comfortable spot to kick back. Just down the hall, you’ll find the cedar sauna, a perfectly soothing space to relax and recharge after a day of adventure.

Please make sure you are well hydrated before using the sauna or hot tub. For your convenience there is a water fountain adjacent to the hot tub, and a water station in the common lounge near the sauna.

Welcome to the West Kootenays

Nestled in southeastern British Columbia, where the Selkirk, Monashee, and Purcell mountains meet, our communities have flourished along the Kootenay Lake for over a century. Known for a unique blend of culture, adventure, and hospitality, we offer a rare mix of mountain charm and metropolitan energy. Each season brings its own appeal: powdery ski slopes in winter, vibrant trails in spring, sun-drenched lakes and golf in summer, and a breathtaking, colourful fall.
