Modern Amenities. Historic Property. Epic Town

Welcome to Nelson, British Columbia. Quiet yet lively, fun but sophisticated, and it’s all framed by spectacular wilderness. Regularly touted as one of the hippest mountain towns in North America, here you’ll find the great outdoors adjoined to a lakeside heritage city bustling with arts and culture, eclectic retail, hopping nightlife and an eclectic, energetic populous.

The newly renovated Savoy Hotel sits at the center of it all. Twelve boutique rooms with a rooftop patio, state-of-the-art nightclub, tasty brew pub music lounge, and sustainably delicious to-go café. For the culturally savvy, inquisitively interested and always adventurous, this is your mini resort gateway to good mountain living.

Classy Surroundings. Sustainable Foods. Awesome Drink.

We grow as much food as we can on our own farm (yes we have our own farm), and ensure the rest is sourced from people who care about what they do. Our cocktails use local ingredients as much as possible. Our craft beer and wine list comes from British Columbia’s best. We’re also working on our on beer. Our chef, Grant de Montrieul’s many years of experience wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s cool like that.

Great Cheer. Sweet Tunes. And Yeah, We Dance.

The Savoy Hotel is the brainchild of Jimmy Bundschuh, who owns and operates the Shambhala Music Festival, one of North America’s most celebrated dance music festivals, located on his family’s farm just south of Nelson, BC on the Salmo River Ranch. No surprise then, we love to entertain.

Bloom Nightclub is a state-of-the-art dancehall with a crystal clear PK sound system, over the top audio-visual system, and plays host to an eclectic mix of live entertainment, DJs, comedy shows and more.

The Falls Music Lounge is a screen-free environment that features live music every evening, and during brunch on the weekends. Tapping into the deep talent pool of this decidedly artsy mountain town, at the Falls we bring an eclectic, sophisticated mix of music to your dining experience.

We like to say, Eat, Dance, Sleep, Repeat.
